Loai is a final-year PhD candidate at the Centre for Research in Evidence-Based Practice at Bond University. His PhD is under the supervision of Prof Paul Glasziou and Prof Tammy Hoffmann and focuses on improving the teaching of evidence-based practice to health professionals. It involves the development of a set of core competencies in evidence-based practice for health professionals. Loai is a medical doctor (MD) from Palestine and completed an MSc degree in Epidemiology at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. His research interests include evidence-based practice, shared decision making, and primary health care.
